Similan Islands on a two-story catamaran

Have you heard of the Similan Islands? They have become the most desirable place for all tourists who have come to Thailand. From all corners of the globe, people come here to enjoy amazing diving, surreal beauty of granite boulders and mind-blowing beaches with snow-white sand.

So, what is the Similans? This is a group of islands, which includes 9 small pieces of land. All of them are part of the national park, so nature is treated very carefully here. We will go to the islands early in the morning. They are separated by more than 100 km from Phuket, so it will take us about two hours to get to them. Our first stop is near island #4 – one of the two islands with infrastructure. Here you can relax on the beach with fine sand that resembles snow-white flour, admire flying foxes and go snorkeling over the coral reef.

The next islands in our program are 9 and 7 or 5 and 6. The choice of a pair depends on weather conditions and waves at sea. Our main entertainment at the islands will be snorkeling. The underwater world of Similan, amazing in its diversity, awaits you here. The truly lucky ones will be able to swim with sea turtles, look into underwater grottoes and caves, and if they are lucky - meet one of the most mysterious inhabitants of these places - a whale shark.

Having had enough of a swim in the turquoise waters of the Similan Islands, we go to island #8. It is no less developed than No. 4. Here you can relax on the beach, and lovers of extreme sensations will be able to climb to the observation deck on Mount Parus.

The best time to visit the Similan Islands on a double-decker catamaran is from January to April. During this period, the probability of storms is extremely low, but the opportunity to see all the beauty of these places is maximum.
