Excursion Similan Islands on a yacht

In every country there are places that are considered mandatory for every tourist. If you have come to Thailand on vacation, be sure to include a trip to the Similan Islands in your list of excursions. This amazing archipelago fascinates with its beauty. Untouched by civilization beaches with white coral sand and boulders scattered by an unknown giant - this is not a complete list of Similan attractions. However, let's go in order!

A speedboat will take us to the shores of the islands, so the distance of 84 km separating Phuket from Similan will seem small. Island #8 will be the first on our list. Here you can relax on the beach and climb to the famous observation deck under the Sail Rock.

The Similans attract tourists not only with the beauty of the islands, but also with fantastic landscapes of the underwater world! To get to know them, you and I are going to island #7. On its shores there is one of the most picturesque reefs, overgrown with real coral gardens. Bright butterfly fish and parrot fish, small stingrays and other inhabitants have found shelter in them. Local giants - whale sharks - often swim here, and sea turtles rest on the shoals.

After snorkeling, we sail to island #4. This island is the second and last inhabited land area of the Similan archipelago. Here we have to have lunch and rest on the beach, and then go again to observe the underwater life of the islands. The coastal waters of Miang Island are extremely calm. There are no treacherous underwater currents, so they are ideal for snorkeling and diving for beginners.

Important!

The Similan Islands are a protected area, so you should not expect a developed infrastructure during the excursion. The main emphasis in this trip is on the union with nature, which is truly fantastic here. You can visit Similan from December to April. The rest of the time the island is closed to tourists.
